At the beginning of a session, I consult with a client and create a class tailored to his or her needs, incorporating varying amounts of yoga, breath work, meditation and essential oils. A session can focus on a variety of challenges, including relieving sore muscles, reducing anxiety, or achieving general relaxation.
Chair-based and restorative yoga poses are practiced along with breath awareness exercises and guided meditations. Multiple variations of poses are provided so that a client can experiment with different options and be empowered to choose the versions that feel the best.
Essential oils are used during a session to help promote stress reduction.
